Scrambled Tofu
Serves 2
Ingredients:
- 1 block of firm smoked tofu
- 1 teaspoon soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon turmeric
- 1 large red onion finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic finely chopped
- Olive oil
- Ground black pepper and sea salt to taste
Cooking method:
- Squeeze out any excess water from the tofu
- Crumble the tofu in a bowl ( make it to an even texture, similar to scrambled eggs)
- Add the soy sauce and turmeric and mix well
- Saute the onion and garlic in the olive oil for a few minutes
- Add in the tofu and heat through while stirring continually
- Serve on toast like scrambled egg, or with a salad as a light meal
