This Seitan Steaks post is going to be really short!
There are 2 things I find rather annoying about finding recipes on line – One is having to scroll through pages and pages about the bloggers dogs or cats or walks in the mountain or whatever. The other is recipes that don’t actually work!
So first – thanks to Sam Turnbull of “It Doesn’t Taste Like Chicken” for this Seitan Steak recipe.
She has amazing recipes, and they WORK!!!!
I followed the recipe exactly. Served up with chips!
Horror of horrors – bought oven chips!
With herby vegan cheese as a sauce.
Of course you can serve up these Seitan Steaks any way you like – get creative.
Delicious.
If I can add anything – Rest, Rest, Rest, your seitan mixtures at every stage. It allows the gluten to develop and also the flavours.
